About the Welfare
Tracking System

WTS is the Government of Chhattisgarh's flagship digital initiative to bring transparency, accountability, and efficiency to welfare delivery across all social care facilities in the state.

Our Mission

The Welfare Tracking System was established under the mandate of the Government of Chhattisgarh to address systemic challenges in welfare delivery — including ghost beneficiaries, proxy attendance, and manual record-keeping errors — that have historically reduced the effectiveness of social welfare programmes.

By deploying AI-powered facial recognition, GPS geo-fencing, and real-time monitoring dashboards across all registered welfare facilities, WTS ensures that every beneficiary receives the services they are entitled to, and that every rupee of public welfare spending is accounted for.

"Ensuring every welfare rupee reaches its rightful beneficiary through technology and accountability."

Government Mandate & Principles

WTS operates under four foundational principles established by the State Government.

Transparency in Welfare Delivery

Every attendance record, beneficiary interaction, and welfare disbursement is digitally logged and auditable, eliminating manual record-keeping and associated leakages.

Accountability at Every Level

From the facility operator to the State Administrator, each role carries defined responsibilities tracked through the platform — ensuring no gap in the chain of accountability.

Targeted Beneficiary Reach

AI-powered biometric verification ensures welfare services reach only verified, registered beneficiaries — preventing duplication, ghost entries, and proxy attendance.

Data Protection & Privacy

Biometric and personal data is stored in compliance with India's data protection framework, with strict access controls, encryption, and regular third-party audits.
